Imagine a person who would put your pup in a clothes dryer without the rotation, a device called a cage dryer from which your dog couldn’t escape. Imagine that same person might give your dog medication without your permission. Then imagine that you might voluntarily leave your dogs with that person. Good dog groomers don’t do any of the things described here and it’s important to know how to be able to separate the ethical groomers from the unethical ones. Among the ways of checking: Ask to look at the grooming facilities to make sure there are no cage dryers or any other equipment that seems dangerous. And if your usually outgoing dog seems scared after having been at this groomer’s before, trust his judgment and leave.
