Most of my friends believe that once a couple begins to think about ending their marriage, they are halfway to a divorce. It goes without saying that they wouldn’t try to Stop Divorce once it has been started.  There seems to be a sense that breaking up is the only thing to do when couples begin to argue.  My experience has been that disagreements don’t always mean the end, but sometimes are actually the beginning.  Often, when people are just discovering their differences, they need time to learn compromise.  If they can recognize that before they split up, they might save a marriage which has a chance to be happy.
