DNA Paternity Test Results: How Accurate are They?
Health and Fitness July 31st. 2010, 4:14pmMany people wonder just how accurate are DNA Paternity Test Results. While nothing is ever 100% accurate, proper DNA testing is typically 99.99% accurate. There are two types of tests. One test is used to rule out people who could potentially be the child’s father, and the other is used to prove that person fathered the child. Using a lab that tests between 13 and 16 loci points, gives you a more accurate result. This is because they perform both the exclusion and the inclusive paternity tests on the samples that are provided, making the test results more accurate than a lab that doesn’t test everything.
