I guess most, but not all people would like to save a failing marriage. But if you have tried over and over, you need to start looking at the problems with open eyes. First, do you really want to save the marriage? What I mean is - will this marriage really make you happy? I know I went through hell to try to save a marriage that did not even make me happy. I just knew I had to save this marriage no matter what. Now that my marriage has ended, I realize that there was no reason to hold on for so long. Maybe it was a safety and security factor. More then that it might have been the knowledge that the divorce would be hell. Which it is. But despite all the problems, I am happier and more content now.
