Wonderful deals of all sorts can often be found at estate sales, but they can also, sometimes, be sad, creepy events as well.  After all; someone has died, and, especially if that person did not have very much money, often times the sale of all their earthly possessions can be hastily thrown together.  One sale that I went to had so much stuff in every room of the house that I believe that the person who was running the sale went from one dead person’s house to the next, and anything that didn’t sell at one was simply added to the next estate sale’s collection of goods.  It was such a motley collection, I just couldn’t see how one person could have all this stuff.  There was used welding equipment next to children’s clothes next to perfume collections; it was just plain crazy.
